For Players Committed to Regional and National-Level Progression Your child does not necessarily need more coaching hours. They need greater clarity around what is limiting their performance, what needs to improve next, and whether their current training is actually moving them toward the level they want to reach. The Performance Consultancy is designed for competitive junior players and their parents who are serious about progressing toward regional and national-level tennis and want an independent, structured performance-development system around the player. This is a consultancy-only service. No on-court coaching is included. The focus is on analysis, planning, monitoring, feedback, and providing the player and parents with a clear development direction. What’s Included 1. Technical & Tactical Performance Analysis Three detailed performance analyses across the year. The player’s tennis is assessed across areas including: * Stroke production * Movement patterns * Tactical awareness * Competitive decision-making * Patterns of play * Match-performance behaviours The objective is to identify the biggest gaps between where the player currently is and what their competitive ambitions require. You cannot improve what you have not correctly identified. The analysis determines what deserves attention first. 2. Individual Development Blueprint Every player receives an individual 6–12 month development roadmap. The blueprint identifies priorities across: * Technical development * Tactical development * Physical development * Mental development This gives the player, parents, and existing coaching team a clearer picture of what the development process should focus on. Instead of reacting from tournament to tournament, there is a longer-term plan. 3. Quarterly 90-Day Action Plans The long-term blueprint is converted into focused 90-day development blocks. Each quarterly plan establishes: * Clear development objectives * Priority areas * Training priorities * Competition-related objectives * Measurable success criteria This makes development easier to track. The question stops being: “Is my child getting better?” And becomes: “Are the specific areas we identified improving?” 4. Ongoing Monitoring & Feedback A development plan is useless if nobody monitors whether it is working. Progress is reviewed throughout the year through: * Regular performance reviews * Development tracking * Review of agreed priorities * Identification of emerging weaknesses * Adjustment of development objectives * Strategic recommendations based on observed progress The plan evolves as the player evolves. What mattered six months ago may not be what matters now. 5. Recording & Performance Analysis Selected video recordings are reviewed to provide additional technical and tactical insight. Analysis can include: * Annotated technical observations * Tactical patterns * Decision-making * Movement observations * Competitive behaviours * Key development priorities * Areas for discussion with the player’s existing coaching team Video creates objectivity. Instead of relying on opinions, memory, or what happened in one isolated match, we can repeatedly review what the player is actually doing. What This Consultancy Does Not Include This programme does not include: * On-court tennis lessons * Weekly tennis coaching * Hitting sessions * Squad sessions * Physical training sessions The consultancy sits around the player’s existing training environment. Its role is to analyse, plan, monitor, and provide direction. The existing coach or coaching team remains responsible for delivering the player’s on-court training. Who This Is For This consultancy is specifically designed for families where: * The junior player is already competing seriously * Regional and national-level tennis is the objective * Parents are investing significant time and resources into the player’s development * The player already has access to coaching and training * The family wants greater structure around the development process * Parents want objective performance analysis rather than relying only on results * The player is willing to review, learn, and implement feedback Who This Is Not For This is not for recreational players. It is not a replacement for a tennis coach. It is not additional weekly coaching. And it is not for families looking for quick technical fixes after one bad tournament. This is for players building toward higher competitive levels over the next 6–12 months and beyond. The Performance Consultancy System Analyse → Identify Priorities → Build the Blueprint → Create the 90-Day Plan → Monitor → Review Video → Adjust That is the consultancy. The goal is simple: Give the player and parents a much clearer answer to four questions: Where are we now? What is holding the player back? What should we prioritise next? Are we actually progressing toward regional and national level? For families serious about competitive junior tennis, clarity around those questions can prevent months — sometimes years — of unfocused development. Apply for the Performance Consultancy to determine whether the programme is appropriate for your player.
