Performance Tennis Camp A 5-Day Small Group Performance Block for Committed Players Pushing Towards Regional and National Level The Performance Tennis Camp is designed for committed players who want more than a standard tennis camp. This is not a recreational holiday camp. It is a focused 5-day performance block for players who are serious about improving their game, competing more effectively, and moving closer to Regional and National level standards. The camp runs for 4 hours per day across 5 days, giving each player 20 hours of focused performance training. Capacity is capped at 4 players only. This is intentional. A smaller group means more individual attention, more hitting volume, more feedback, more tactical detail, and a higher standard of accountability. The goal is simple. To help each player become a more complete competitor. Not just a better hitter. A player who understands their game, trains with purpose, makes better decisions, competes with more clarity, and builds habits that hold up under pressure. Who This Camp Is For This camp is for players who: * Are committed to regular training * Are competing or preparing to compete more seriously * Are pushing towards Regional or National level * Want to improve their match performance * Need clearer technical and tactical direction * Want more individual feedback in a small group environment * Are ready to train with intensity, focus, and accountability This camp is not for players who just want casual tennis. It is for players who want a proper performance training environment. What Is Included 20 Hours of Performance Training Each player receives 4 hours of on-court training per day for 5 days. Across the week, players will work on the key areas that influence match performance, including technical efficiency, tactical decision-making, movement quality, serve and return, point construction, rally tolerance, pressure habits, and competitive behaviours. The training is not random. Each day connects to the wider goal of helping the player perform better in match situations. Small Group Format — Maximum 4 Players The camp is capped at 4 players to protect the quality of the training environment. This allows for: * More individual feedback * More repetitions * Better coach-to-player attention * Higher training standards * More tactical detail * More competitive point play * Clearer player accountability In a large camp, players can hide. In this camp, they cannot. Every player is seen, coached, challenged, and held to the standard. Technical and Tactical Performance Development Players will be assessed and coached on both the technical and tactical sides of their game. Technically, this may include stroke mechanics, contact point, spacing, balance, swing path, use of legs, serve mechanics, recovery, and racket control. Tactically, players will work on how they attack, defend, neutralise, create space, change direction, use height and depth, play to strengths, expose opponents, and make decisions under pressure. The key question is always: Is the player’s technique helping them achieve a better tactical outcome? Because the goal is not to make strokes look better. The goal is to help the player compete better. Daily Training Themes Each day will have a clear performance focus. This may include: * Building rally quality and consistency * Developing serve and return patterns * Improving movement, balance, and recovery * Creating better attacking and defending decisions * Building points around strengths * Competing under pressure * Transferring technical improvements into match play The player should know what they are working on each day and why it matters. No vague coaching. No random drills. Clear purpose. Match Play and Competitive Application Training only matters if it transfers into competition. Throughout the camp, players will be placed in realistic point-play and match-play situations so they can apply what they are learning under pressure. This helps players understand: * What patterns win them points * What errors keep repeating * What decisions break down under pressure * What strengths they can build around * What habits need more repetition * What needs to improve before their next tournament The camp is built to connect training to matches. Not just to produce good-looking practice. Selected Video Feedback Where useful, selected parts of the camp may be recorded and reviewed. Video may be used to show technique, movement, spacing, contact point, decision-making, serve patterns, tactical choices, and before-and-after improvements. Players often cannot feel exactly what they are doing. Seeing it helps them understand faster. Daily Feedback and Player Clarity Each day, players will receive clear feedback around what they are improving, what still needs work, and what they need to focus on next. The aim is to make the player more self-aware. They should leave the camp with a better understanding of: * Their strengths * Their common errors * Their technical priorities * Their tactical priorities * Their match habits * Their next areas of development This gives the player clarity. It also gives parents a clearer picture of what the player needs moving forward. The Overall Goal The goal of the Performance Tennis Camp is to give committed players a focused, high-quality training block that helps move their game closer to Regional and National level standards. Across 5 days, players get 20 hours of performance-focused training in a small group capped at 4 players. They receive technical coaching, tactical development, competitive point play, selected video feedback, daily review, and clear direction. Parents are not paying for a standard tennis camp. They are investing in a focused performance environment where the player gets coached properly, challenged consistently, and given clear feedback on what needs to improve. In simple terms: This is not a tennis camp for players who want to hit balls for a week. This is a performance block for players who want to train, compete, and improve with purpose.
